Our faith in God is dependent on knowing the Truth of His Word in our hearts by revelation and not just mental assent. Our faith is released through the spoken Word out of our mouths. This section contains our beliefs, professions, and prayers based on the Word of God.

Our Basic Beliefs

• We are committed to Sacred Scripture – the Bible – as the inspired and infallible revelation of God’s living Word to man. As such, it is an infallible rule of faith and conduct.
• We believe that in His Word, God reveals Himself to man as one in being, yet three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
• Through His word, God the Father is the Creator and Sustainer of all things.
• We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the co-eternal Son of God, became man through being conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. As such, He is True God and True Man. He was crucified, died, was buried, and descended into Hell as a substitute and a propitiation for sinners, the just for the unjust. He arose bodily, ascended into Heaven and is presently seated at the right hand of God the Father, where He ever lives to make intercession for us as our Advocate and High Priest.
• We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, the just to everlasting life and the wicked to everlasting punishment.
• We believe in personal salvation of believers through the New Birth by faith in the Lordship of Jesus Christ and His shed blood.
• We believe in a life of personal holiness set apart to God in heart and mind through the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit.
• We believe that divine healing is provided for in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ and as such is the privilege of every believer.
• We believe in water baptism for believers as a witness of their covenant relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ in which we acknowledge that we have died, been buried with Christ and raised to walk with Him in newness of life.
• We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as distinct from the New Birth. All believers are entitled to the Promise of the Father and the enduement with power for witnessing and service which it brings.
• We believe in the gifts of the Spirit and the fruit of the Spirit, and believe that all are available to believers today.
• We believe in the marvelous Hope of all true believers: the soon-coming personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
• We believe in the Body of Christ (The Church) which is made up of all believers under the headship of our Lord Jesus Christ. The universal church is made up of local congregations who come together for the purpose of teaching, fellowship, prayer, and the Lord’s supper. From the church believers are sent forth to fulfill the great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ to preach the Good News of the Kingdom of God and to make disciples of all nations.
