The Great Awakening
Beginning in the fall of 2014 several pastors in Northwest Lincoln began to come together both in prayer and corporate meeting believing God for a greater move of the Spirit in Lincoln and Nebraska. In the past few years several national ministries have spoken of revival in America beginning in the heartland of our nation. A sense of a coming awakening to this area was a motivating factor in this seeking of the Lord. In May, 2015 and July, 2015 the Pastors and their churches worked together with the ministry of Apostle Marshall McGee of Omaha to host meetings to begin to lay the groundwork and spiritual development necessary for God to execute His plan. The teaching that will be posted came out of those meetings. God has continued to move both in individual lives and in the particular congregations into 2016.

Marshall McGee Bio
Marshall McGee is an Apostolic voice to the nations. He serves in the office of Apostle while overseeing a myriad of churches and prophetic ministries providing timely and revelator insight to the church. He is founder of Marshall McGee Ministries and co-founder of Agape Worship Center International, both headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska.
For forty years now Marshall has dedicated his life to the saving and healing ministry of Jesus Christ. He and his wife, Pastor/Prophetess Randi are regularly sought after speakers who travel both nationally and internationally providing Apostolic and Prophetic leadership, raising up many sons and daughters in the Kingdom of God. His ministry endeavors have taken him to nations such as South Africa, Spain, Sweden, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Israel, Greece, Macedonia and more. He is also a respected advisor providing leadership consultation and training/equipping institutions for many pastors, ministers and other church leaders. His ministry has literally touched thousands, as many have been trained, activated and released into prophetic ministry, through the “Schools of the Prophetic.
Marshall’s vision is to teach believers how to make the Kingdom a tangible reality through practical teaching, the gift of impartation and prophetic activation. Teachings
The Principle of Prophetic Sight- Marshall McGee
There is a Kingdom dynamic called migration; remember that migration implies movement; this is movement from where we are to where He is. (Remember movement is always measureable).
Proverbs 29:18 says that without a vision people perish; another translation says: where there is no (Prophetic) revelation, the people cast off restraint;
Without proper spiritual sight people will tend to become undisciplined in the things of God, they are prone to "cast off’ restraint (because one cannot attain that that one does not see; if you can’t see it you cannot have it)
This expression “cast off” restraint implies:
Cast-off------ to think to little of; to not regard or pay attention to; this word also implies not wanting any more (as in relationships) to cut off.
To have no restraint as it relates to the issue of having Prophetic sight means: one is not aware of the laws and operational systems that are able to produce a desired result for the purpose of Kingdom advancement.
Therefore without the right governing principles people will operate outside of the boundaries that are designed to produce good fruit. They will therefore end up with something that is seriously out of order; or out of shape; and out of time and season.
{it is true with our natural bodies; if we cast-off restraint we will eventually kill our selves because of lack of discipline and self control; restraint helps us to stay within the parameters God has set for us; where we able to be all we were created to be……
Understand that in this season of change and kingdom transition; we cannot any longer not pay attention to What our God is doing and saying.
Acts 9 (read 1-7)
Lets look at some prophetic principles from this passage
Saul represented the Jewish faith He was relentless in his attack against the Followers of Christ (he considered himself a defender of the faith; (those who attack you will consider themselves defenders of the faith…denominations; etc.
Saul have letters of authorization; so those who would persecute you will have their letters as well; credentials, church rule and regulation manual, the discipline; the form you signed when you joined up….
Remember it is always those who were a part of the last thing God moved in; that will oppose the present new thing He is doing now !!!
Near Damascus a light suddenly shined on him. This represents a turning point the place
of divine interruption;
a place of revelation and sight; the light shines and the darkness disappears…
he falls to the ground (humility) he hears a voice; in his place of divine submission the
Lord speaks; and says hey why are you persecuting me?
At the place of divine submission the Lord will speak to reveal to us that what we think
is right is in reality wrong as it relates to His purposes.. The so-called good
thing may not be the God thing.
Saul submitted and asked the Lord what do You want me to do?
this time zeal, good intentions, etc. will not frustrate the purposes of God…
he received instructions to go to the City and wait…
In this season if we are to properly move with Him there must be a time of waiting
(preparation) the principle is simple God wants to use you
But He will not use you like you are
You need time to understand the message and the assignment.
Saul was blind 3- days plus didn’t eat or drink. On his way to Prophetic sight Saul
completed a process of preparation that’s the 3- days; he ate nor drank;
this is where he denied himself of his natural appetite/ you leave what is normal to
produce a new normal
vs. 8 says then he rose from the ground his eyes were opened he saw no one.
This is a powerful principle; out of his blindness he could finally see things in the way Jesus the head of the Church saw them, therefore the principle is:
Before you can see or have sight, you must admit your blindness and allow someone who does have spiritual sight to guide you.
Therefore “Prophetic Sight” is needful and necessary for an accurate interpretation of the new things God is doing; accurate interpretation will give us the wisdom to build in this new apostolic/ prophetic reformation season. (age)
The principle of accurate prophetic sight enables us to manage the invisible technology of the spirit.
The ability to have spiritual sight is important to have if we are to successfully move into the next season.
NOTE: That prophetic sight is the ability to see that which cannot be seen or noticed by the natural eye.
Prophetic Sight is like a muscle of the Spirit. Muscles give strength and add shape and structure.
Your Spiritual productivity will be a direct result of your acquired Spiritual Sight. (you cannot go any further than you can see; if you can’t see it you cannot have it)
Prophetic sight bridges the gap between the natural physical world (which is the invisible)
And the Spiritual World (which is the invisible). It gives you access to both worlds at the same time.
Hear me!!! Your reality is determined by your Prophetic Sight. Your Prophetic Sight determines your reality.
Prophetic Sight is directly connected to your spiritual growth and it development into the nature of God.
Jeremiah 8:7
Even the stork in the heavens, knows her appointed times; and the turtledove, the swift, and the swallow observe the time of their coming/ Migration) But my people do not know the judgement of the Lord. NKJV
Knows means: to perceive and to see, to find out and discern the sense of the knowledge of time is built into creation,
it is against nature not to know;
it is against nature to lack spiritual insight.
By instinct creation recognizes the changes of the seasons, but, we are much much more than them {animal kingdom} we are in fact a more highly evolved species of being.
Therefore we can say that Prophetic Sight is a divine capacity that is a part of our spiritual genetics, we are born with it.
Observe; to keep, to guard, to guard the time, and to treat the seasons of God soberly, the issues is one of acute awareness and extreme diligence.
We are required to move from old positions regarding prophetic ministry to a new Prophetic Dimension. Understand that our movement must be measurable and clearly discernible.
Let’s Look at Some of the Consequences for lack of Prophetic Sight
Luke 19:41-44
Now as He drew near, He saw the city and wept over it, vs. 42 saying, “if you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.
vs. 43 For days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you, (your vision is cut off) surround you and close you in on every side, (spiritual siege and loss of option)
vs. 44 and level you, and your children within you, (loss of generational power) to the ground, and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, (without the capacity to build) because you did not know the time of you visitation.”
It is important to understand that God does have moments, times and seasons that He chooses to execute different aspects of His will in the earth, therefore there must be a proper human response in the earth that will align itself with the divine purpose of God for that moment.
God creates a moment if you will a day in time that He designs things in the earth that are for our benefit.
The interesting thing about this is, these things The Father God has designed to benefit us are out of the range of natural sight, otherwise it would clearly be seen.
Therefore it is very possible to be right in the middle of a move of God and totally miss it because of lack of sight.
The issue here is a demand of God for accurate interpretation, discernment, and response to the Kairos of God. So if we know what is relevant and pertinent in your day it will make for your peace.
THE CONSEQUENCES
Blindness: Hidden from your eyes vs. 42
Vision cut-off: enemies build an embankment around you. Vs 43
Spiritual Siege and Loss of option: close you in on every side. Vs. 43
Loss of Generational Power: level you and your children Vs. 44
Without the Capacity to Build: will not leave one stone upon another.
